• The maximum shelf life is up to 10 years from the date of manufacture for plastics and textile products. It is undefined for metal products.

Revisions and lifetime

Lifetime checks Checks: the equipment must be checked every 12 months by an authorised person or by the manufacturer. Inspections shall be recorded on the review sheet attached to the PPE together with the instruction manual.

Cleaning: clean with soap and water not above 30oC. Don't dry in the heat. Grease the visages and opening levers occasionally after washing.
