THE THREE DETECTORS OFFER:

• 2 months of battery life. Get up to two months of gas detection work on a 4.5 hour load.*. That is, no daily loads or unexpected downtime.

• Advanced infrared technology.

The long battery life is due to the Honeywell at the lower explosive limit (LEL), which consumes 100 times less energy than traditional catalytic sensors.

• Reliable detection of LEL without sensor poisoning. The LEL infrared sensor of Honeywell it's immune to air pollutants like grease and other silicones that can erode some LEL sensors. This means that the sensor will accurately monitor fuels throughout the detector's lifetime, saving time and costs on sensor maintenance.

• Extreme protection and maximum reliability. With IP ratings 66 and 68, the BWTM Icon and Flex detectors are dust and water resistant. So whether you drop your detector in a tank or use it in a steel plant, it will still work efficiently.

• Catalytic LEL sensors for traditional uses. The BW™ Flex detector will also be offered with the option of standard catalytic LEL sensors for complete protection across the range of traditional uses.

RAPID AND ACCURATE DETECTION EVEN UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS

The BW™ Icon and Flex detectors feature Series 1 sensors, which are one-third the height of the industry standard. This slim design not only makes the detector lighter and smaller, it also speeds up sensor response time because gas diffuses through the sensors more quickly.

These sensors will respond to hazardous gas levels in seconds, even at temperatures of -40 oC to 60 oC (-40 oF to 140 oF), as well as to changes in pressure, humidity and other extreme environmental conditions.

Even in the harshest environments, it will alert workers to the gas danger so they can leave the area.

Just like other products Honeywell BWTM, Icon and Flex handheld detectors are designed for simple operation and direct notification, including bright lights, vibration and a 95 decibel alert. If there's a gas threat, your workers will know.

EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF THE INSTRUMENTS

The BWTM Icon and Flex handheld detectors are compatible with the IntelliDoX instrument management system, which combines intelligent docking modules with software Honeywell The safety suite. It is the same coupling system used by other detectors of Honeywell BWTM, so it does not require new infrastructure.

Protect your workers without burdening them. Workers want to use portable gas detectors that are easy to use. BWTM Icon/Flex offer the ease of use expected from Honeywell BWTM. All the detectors are small, light, easy to transport and strong enough for the toughest conditions.

It works with one button: no experience required. The BWTM Icon and Flex detectors have a single button, which makes them easy to use (even with gloves), avoids manipulation and reduces training time.

Do more in less time with a unified docking system and its software. Simply place one or more detectors into the IntelliDoX coupling system, which automatically performs functional testing and transfers data (including alarms, exposures, test results and more) to the software for intuitive analysis, compliance tracking and device configuration.

Test detectors with or without external filters. Do you want to use an external filter to protect the internal sensors from contaminants? With IntelliDoX you can perform functional testing on detectors with coupled external filters, providing a complete analysis of sensor performance and proper calibration.

Reduce infrastructure costs and downtime. Existing IntelliDox modules can be converted and made compatible quickly and easily by using the IntelliDoX nesting for BWTM Icon and Flex, helping to reduce expense, system downtime and training.

Security by sight. You want to quickly determine if a detector meets the regulations? Just look at the flashing green light IntelliFlashTM patented by Honeywell, to know, at a glance, that the detector meets the established tests and its operating status is correct. The amber light indicates the need for maintenance.

COMPLIANCE REPORTS FROM YOUR SMARTPHONE

With BWTM Icon and Flex it is easy to notify a gas alarm. Just download the app Honeywell Device Configurator, use Bluetooth® to link your smartphone to the detector and open the app to view the data, organized into a ready-to-use report. You just have to click send.

Honeywell BWTM Icon is a 4-gas detector with a fixed service life of 2 years. That means you can turn it on and enjoy two years of protection without having to change the sensors or the battery and at no extra cost. The detector simultaneously monitors the four gases most frequently encountered by workers, including oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), fuel gas (LEL) and their choice of carbon monoxide (CO) or sulphur dioxide (SO2).

Icon-based display
Honeywell BW™ Icon is named for its simple icon-based display of gas levels and device status, the first of its kind in the gas detection industry. This means workers will not have to interpret gas readings in real time, eliminating the need for training

Fast decisions
When there is a gas alarm, the bell icon will illuminate on the screen and the indicator next to the sensor that has activated, which added to the sound and vibration, will alert workers to evacuate the danger areas quickly.
