Tape of glass fibre 361 white of 55 m x 0.17 mm 3M. What. Use the fiberglass tape 3Mtm 361 for applications requiring high thermal resistance. Our tape includes a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive for applications that require high adhesion, long life, good grip and clean retraction. The abrasion resistant support is ideal for masking as protection in thermal spraying operations.

Our tape is 0.16 mm thick and includes a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive for tasks requiring high adhesion, durability, good grip and removal without residue. It can withstand intermittent temperatures up to 288 °C or even higher, depending on the type of heat source and the time of exposure to it. Continuous exposure to temperatures above 232 °C will degrade the adhesive over time, causing loss of adhesion and darkening of the glass fibre support. It is mainly used in the aerospace and automotive industries, in military operations, for roofing and shipbuilding and special vehicles. It is also used to join fabrics, splice and seal panels, mask, pack, hold and pack harnesses.
