Adhesive sign for oxidizing materials Class 5.1 COFAN

Adhesive signs which warns of the presence of dangerous substances 'Combustible materials' pictogram referring to a fire. The AD material poster consists of the pictogram at the top on a yellow background. It has the number 5.1 in the bottom corner to indicate the class of danger. The design of the signal may vary, but in no case will the meaning of the signal change.

Combustible materials are substances that contain carbon and can be used as fuels. Class 5.1 refers to the classification of hazardous materials according to the United Nations classification system, indicating that they are oxidizing substances that can cause or contribute to the combustion of other materials. The sign can be installed indoors or outdoors and is available in two sizes: 100 x 100 mm and 300 x 300 mm .

Among the most common technical characteristics of COFAN signals are:

• Form: it's usually a circle with a pictogram and text.
• Size: this may vary depending on the size and location of the work area.

• The material: safety signs may be made of different materials, such as plastic, aluminium or vinyl sticker. The material used will depend on the location and environment in which the signal will be placed. For example, if the signal is placed in an area where there is a lot of dust or moisture, it is advisable to use a material resistant to these conditions.

The signs are manufactured on a self-adhesive white gloss calendered monomeric vinyl sheet.

Color coating is applied using serigraphic techniques.

The adhesive is protected against inclement weather by a glossy transparent calendered laminate.

Description of the vehicle:

• TRANSPARENT LAMINATE GLOSSY FINISH of 0,8 mm. Transparent film of CALANDRED PVC with MONOMERIC PLASTIFICANT, free of cadmium, with UV filter.
• COLOUR COATING EPOXIDE RESINS of black, green, red, blue, yellow, orange depending on the signal type.
• SELF-ADHESIVE VINYL 0,08 mm made of white PVC resin. Back side of the adhesive.

SELF-ADHESIVE MONOMERIC VINYL SUPPORT

Fused digital printable vinyl sheet calendered monomeric (80μ) white self-adhesive gloss.

Removable water-based acrylic adhesive, which allows the application to be fixed and removed under very light pressure with the fingers, and then lifted and repositioned if necessary.

Colour coating (as required by the signal) by means of multi-use UV cured screen inks on various plastics.

These are brightly finished inks, whose mixture of compounds and radiated curing method give them excellent elasticity and reactivity, not only in overprinting but also in bending and die-cutting.

Ink contains the following dangerous elements:

To properly place an obligation sign indicating that gloves are compulsory, it is important to ensure that it is clearly visible to people entering the work area. It is recommended to place the signal at eye level and in a place where it cannot be obstructed by other objects or signals.

MAINTENANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS

In order to preserve the functionality for which the signalling systems have been designed, SEKURECO recommends that signals be kept free from dust, dirt or any residue or object that prevents their visibility and identification.

For cleaning it is advisable to use soapy solutions preferably, avoiding the use of solvents or abrasive products that may damage the surface of the signal.

The working temperature shall not exceed 45 °C. Higher temperatures may deform the support material.
