The spiral, non-woven design of our Scotch-BriteTM shaving wheels provides consistent abrasive action on flat or uneven surfaces throughout the wheel's life. Our wheels are hard and durable, making them ideal for stripping stamped or laser-cut parts, cleaning or finishing after sanding the band, reducing the bite of the base material. They offer a superior finish, which can eliminate the need for later final finishing steps.

They use an exceptionally sharp grain of silicon carbide, a synthetic material commonly used in low-pressure applications such as paint preparation and finishing. Silicon carbide breaks down faster than aluminum oxide to achieve a finer finish. The open mesh material works without heating and resists embossing, which limits seals on the fibres. Together with the continuous breaking of the fibers in the mesh to reveal the fresh minerals, the high cutting performance of the minerals is maintained. The result is an extremely long service life. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are single-surface conditioning products composed of abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. The combination of abrasives with fibres creates an abrasive system that delivers uniform results over the life of the product. Use Scotch-Brite products to improve productivity while reducing the need for cleaning chemicals and wire brushes. From aesthetic finishes to weld homogenization, shaving, etc., they work quickly and offer uniform results, piece by piece.
