ATTENUATION VALUES
Frequency (Hz) | 63 | 125 | 250 | 500 | 1000 | 2000 | 4000 | 8000 |
Mf (dB) | 30 | 33.1 | 36.3 | 38.4 | 38.7 | 39.7 | 48.3 | 44.4 |

APVf (dB) | 26.1 | 28.1 | 28.9 | 32.2 | 33.1 | 35.4 | 43.8 | 40 |
SNR = 37dB H = 37 dB M = 34 dB L = 31 dB
Legend:
APVf(dB) = Mf –sf (dB)
Mf= mean attenuation value sf = standard deviation APVf = assumed protection value
H= high frequency attenuation value
M= mid-frequency attenuation value
L= low frequency attenuation value
SNR= single reduction index (the value subtracted from the C-weighted sound pressure level, L(C), to calculate the effective A-weighted sound pressure level in the ear canal)
APPLICATIONS
Its use is suggested for lower range noise levels
