Double-sided tape for blue 50 m splice, 0.09 mm 900 3M. What. Our double-sided 900-degree repulsible splice tape 3Mtm is ideal for the permanent overlapping splicing of coated papers. It combines high initial adhesion with excellent heat resistance.
Our double-sided 900-degree repulsible splice tape 3Mtm is ideal for the permanent overlapping splicing of coated papers. It combines high initial adhesion with excellent heat resistance. Suitable for use on lightweight coated paper The combination of high initial adhesion and very good heat resistance makes our double-sided repulsible 900-degree bonding tape 3MTM is ideal for lightweight coated papers (LWC), particularly for gravure and offset coated papers. It also performs well in many other finish splicing applications, including “alkaline coatings” and stearate gluing.
It meets or exceeds the requirements of TAPPI UM-213, Procedure A, thus contributing to saving labour costs and increasing the value of waste paper. All adhesive and support components meet the requirements of the regulations on indirect food additives described in 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180. It keeps the presses running and helps keep your customers satisfied
For decades, the products 3M have been used in paper and printing plants to help improve the quality of work produced and the efficiency of how it is done. From splicing paper coils to assembling plates and packing finished work, you can rely on 3M for its solutions and services in its operations.
Supply: 5 to 10 working days
CHARACTERISTICS
- It is used for splicing in general of various lightweight coated papers.
- Repulsible: water and alkaline dispersibility contributes to eliminating the risk of contamination of waste from the bin with non-repulsible material; meets or exceeds the requirements of procedure A of TAPPI UM-213.
- Excellent heat resistance at curing temperatures up to 204 oC.
- Extraordinary adhesion: delaminates most papers, including many light coating formulations.
- Meets the requirements of the regulations on indirect food additives described under 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180

BENEFITS
- This 63.5 μm (0.06 mm) tape has a lightweight fabric coated on both sides with a blue repulsable adhesive over an easy-to-remove paper liner.
- The tape offers excellent heat resistance up to 204 oC of coil temperature.
- Their repulpable nature means that it is not necessary to remove the splices from the waste.
- The water dispersion capacity of the tape eliminates the danger of contaminating paper waste with non-repulsible material.
- It meets or exceeds the requirements of TAPPI UM-213, Procedure A, thus contributing to saving labour costs and increasing the value of waste paper.
- All adhesive and support components meet the requirements of the regulations on indirect food additives described in 21 CFR 176.170 and 21 CFR 176.180.
