Scotch® 8898 is a general-purpose adhesive tape with a backing of polypropylene film and a synthetic pressure sensitive adhesive. The reverse offers adequate rigidity and excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture and minor scratches. The pressure sensitive adhesive has been specially formulated to provide a balanced adhesion on most aggregate surfaces and a wide variety of metals and plastics.
