Use the film disc 3M™ Cubitron ™ II Hookit ™ 775L to cut twice as quickly with an album that lasts up to six times more than a normal abrasive. Our discs have a film support that provides more wear resistance and on the edges than paper discs. These film albums contain psg grain 3M which takes the shape of triangular tips that, unlike traditional abrasives, cut metal cleanly instead of biting or gouging it. These points continually self-sharpen as they fracture, providing extremely fast cutting. 3M offers a full range of Hookit discs for workspaces where adhesive backed discs can become contaminated with dust or dirt. The finishes obtained with Hookit discs are typically finer than those with adhesive backed discs, so they are often used in applications where a disc 3M™ Stikit™ would be too aggressive.

Hookit sanding discs are comfortably fixed to a Hookit type support (it is sold separately). They withdraw easily and can be reused throughout the useful life of the abrasive. For better results, combine them with rotorbital sanders 3M™ Elite.
