Manufacture from materials of any heading, except that of the product 3M. 3M Trizact Hookit Film Disc 568XA uses micro-replication technology from the 3M together with cerium oxide particles formed into small abrasive mineral pyramids and then coated with a backing film. As these pyramids wear down, the fresh, sharp mineral is continuously exposed to produce a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish when used wet or dry.

The 568XA PSA film disc roll 3MTM TrizactTM is a cerium oxide PSA disc roll with a durable film support. Our 568XA discs feature micro-replicated Trizact minerals as well as an adhesive support for easy fixation and are additionally delivered in a convenient disc roll format.

Use the 568XA PSA film disc roll 3MTM TrizactTM with an orbital sander 3M for surface leveling, polishing and removal of excess product. Our 568XA discs require little water and use micro-replicated Trizact cerium oxide PSA pyramids with a precise shape to achieve a uniform cut.

The holder is durable and includes an adhesive that facilitates placement and removal. The use of these discs results in fewer processing steps and increases work efficiency in many applications, including repairing glass defects and finishing acrylic and Corian solid surfaces.

Our film discs Trizact Hookit from 3M are suitable for use on a variety of solid surfaces, finishing layers and to fit most finishing and process requirements. This disc is manufactured with the Hookit attachment system from 3M for quick assembly and removal and to keep the disc in place safely during use. Hookit discs are conveniently and firmly attached to a hook-and-loop back-up disc pad (sold separately) on rotary or random orbital tools, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be reused again and again over the life of the disc.

Our film disc Trizact TM Hookit TM 3M TM 568XA uses cerium oxide abrasive mineral. Cerium oxide is an oxide of the rare earth metal cerium. The average particle grain size is measured in nanometres in raw form, making it one of the most effective abrasives for the final polishing steps on solid surfaces (PDF, 116 Kb). It is heat-resistant and effective as a polishing agent for glass mirrors, flat glass, glass, television tubes, ophthalmic lenses, precision optics, precious and semi-precious stones.
