Double sided tape 3M™ 9191 is a general purpose double-sided tape. It is made with pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive with high tack (even initial), a non-woven backing and easy-to-remove siliconized paper liner.

Our 466LA drives use micro-replication technology from 3M to deliver a consistent cut and fine finish, unlike conventional abrasives. Available in three grains – A3, A5 and A7. Our rolls are ideal for use on orbital machines and mini orbital sanders to provide consistent, high-quality automotive polish on clear coatings, lacquers, glass, corian and acrylic. Use them as part of our two-step paint defect repair process for automotive finishes.

The disc rolls have been formulated with micro-replication technology, in which micron silicon carbide particles form tiny pyramids of abrasive material. These cover a non-compressible polyester backing. Unlike conventional abrasives, our disc stays sharp, delivering a more predictable, high-quality finish. Our film disc rolls are available in three grains – A3, A5 and A7. Each roll is made up of 500 individual film-supported discs. Each disc is designed to ensure quick access and attachment on machines or orbital sanders.

Trizact abrasive discs can last up to five times longer than conventional abrasives. They offer precise finishing control that allows the operator to reduce grain sequences, thus requiring fewer process steps and fewer abrasive products. These abrasives also offer the advantage of having three-dimensional structures, distributed evenly over the entire surface of the abrasives, to ensure consistent performance and no variation from disc to disc.

With its excellent balance of high tack and initial adhesion, good room temperature shear strength and ease of removal, 9191 tape was developed as a carpet tape. However, it is necessary to carefully evaluate the compatibility of the surfaces before starting to apply it.

WHAT TYPE OF WORK IS IT APPROPRIATE FOR

3MTM TrizactTM 468LA film discs use microreplication technology with silicon carbide mineral coated on a film support. This product is used to repair automotive paint defects.

It has been specifically designed to help remove minor paint defects such as specks or small craters in basecoat/clearcoat paint systems. It must be used with water to keep the disc moist during use.

SAFETY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store under recommended conditions of (16-26°C / 35-50% rH) with a “first in – first out” rotation. Temperature and humidity conditions outside these ranges should be avoided. Note: The shelf life of the product may be reduced if the original packaging is not properly closed or if the product is stored in an environment with high temperature or humidity.
