The Soft Disc 3MTM HookitTM consists of a durable foam of 1/2" soft density. We have designed our adaptive discs for use with Clean Sanding or standard HookitTM sanding supports, so that the operator can work deeper into the edges while maximizing dust extraction. Long Description Use the soft disc 3MTM HookitTM with standard HookitTM support to perform effective and deeper work on the edges, by reducing cut on the edges when the pad is tilted over it and maintaining deeper contact with the edge. Our discs are made of a durable foam of soft 1/2" density and include the Clean Sanding holes pattern of 3M. What. They add adaptability to a Clean Sanding support*, allowing the operator to follow the contours and work deeper on the edges, while maximizing dust extraction. These soft-touch disc holders provide more cushioning and adaptability than a medium-density foam holder. The uniquely designed series of holes and channels allow dust to pass through the holes and away from the sanding surface.

This improves the working environment and the life of the disc. Our Clean Sanding dust management system is designed for better dust removal from work surfaces than products with 5 or 6 holes. It is optimized with a self-sucking sanding tool equipped with a Clean Sanding filter bag. Our Clean Sanding products are designed to suck up dust and separate it from the workpiece and the air. This helps to minimize the load on the disc and increases the service life of the abrasive. Reducing dust in the air also helps to improve working conditions. Clean sanding abrasives 3M can be combined with Clean Sanding supports for use in centrifugal sanders. * Sold separately.
