CHARACTERISTICS

• Welding cap, model Fire Fox
• Fireproof blue
• The pH, chromium (VI) and PCP levels of all materials have been tested and comply with EC health standards.
• Weight: A flame retardant fabric of 305 g/m2 is used.
• The flame retardant characteristics of the product shall be valid for 5 washes at 40°C.
• No bleach or acid should be used, only standard washing detergents. A dimensional change may occur after washing. After washing, the clothes must be inspected. It can be dried and ironed but at a temperature below 95°C.
• Protects against short-term electric shock and not against long-term high voltage shock

APPLICATIONS

With welding processes of intended use the risks identified are as follows:

• the flames,
• splashes of molten material,
• the radiant heat,
• as well as short-term electric shock

The level of protection shall be reduced if the protective clothing is contaminated with flammable materials.

The increase in oxygen in the air will considerably reduce the protection of clothing against fire. Care must be taken when welding in confined spaces. The oxygen-rich air will be dangerous.

The electrical insulation provided by clothing will be reduced when the clothing is wet, dirty or soaked in sweat

APPLICATIONS

This product is designed for use in all arc welding processes, such as:

• MM,
• OF WHICH:,
• TG,
• of a kind used in motor vehicles,
• point and gas welding
• as well as plasma spraying and oxycorting,
• shaved,
• arc and thermal welding.

Since applications vary, it is the user's responsibility to identify the appropriate product for each application.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature between 10 ̊ and 20 ̊ Celsius. Do not stack more than 5 boxes on a pallet.
