Description

For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions apply: 3M. What. Plates, sheets and strip for finishing 566A 180 mm, P40 3M. What. The 566A sheet disc of 3M tm offers a versatile single disc system only for metal fabrication applications, where increased durability is required for medium sanding, small weld removal, finishing and surface preparation. Used in a right-angle grinder, this disc is a unique alternative to bonded discs and fiber discs.

The sheet disc 3MTM 566A provides a versatile single disc system for metal product manufacturing applications where durability is an indispensable requirement in medium pressure abrasion, small weld removal, finishing and surface preparation work. Our 566A discs must be used with a radial and allow you to grind and thin in one step.

Use the foil disc 3MTM 566A, which is characterised by an alumina-zirconium compound providing a durability and cutting power superior to that of alumina alone. Our 566A discs, which must be used with a radial, allow you to grind and thin in one step. The resistant Y-type support, composed of a mixture of cotton and polyester, provides flexibility and allows for quick cutting in applications of roughness and high pressure finish.

Supply: 5 to 10 working days

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Foil discs allow you to sand and bond in a single pass, saving time and money.
  • The alumina-zirconia ore is automatically sharpened, offers a longer service life and more cutting power than aluminum oxide, which reduces replacement costs.
  • The durable Y-weight cotton and polyester backing offers flexibility and allows quick cutting in medium to high pressure sanding and finishing applications.
  • Quick fastening facilitates disc replacement and does not require manual tools

BENEFITS

  • It features a self-fracturing alumina and zirconia mineral abrasive with a faster cutting speed than aluminum oxide and versatile performance in many types of metal.
  • The 566A sheet disc is composed of a strong yet flexible YF weight cotton and polyester backing suitable for the treatment of sharp edges and medium to high pressure applications; it is therefore an excellent choice for most sanding and finishing tasks.
  • It's bonded with resin to resist heat.
  • Under normal conditions, sheet discs generate a finer grade finish than fiber discs of the same grade.
  • Sheet discs are three-dimensional sanding discs, with overlapping layers or sheets starting from a central axis.
  • These abrasive-coated cotton and polyester fins wear continuously with use, exposing ever-new minerals for quick and consistent cutting. In addition, because the overlapping structure allows it to load more abrasive material onto the cutting surface, they last much longer than normal discs.
  • Alumina-zirconia (often referred to as AZ or zirconia-alumina) is frequently broken down to continuously produce sharp points and provide a faster cutting speed than aluminum oxide.

WHAT KIND OF WORK IS APPROPRIATE

Sheet discs are ideal for a wide range of applications, including sanding of small welds (less than 80 degrees), shaving, rust removal, edge sanding and point bonding. For medium roughness, removal of light welds and surface preparation.

For roughing at medium pressure, removal of small welds, finishing and surface preparation.
