Description

The Filter 3M 6059 ABEK1 protects against combinations of organic vapours (Ebullition Point 65oC), inorganic, acidic gases and ammonia.

Suitable for half masks 3M 6000 series and complete masks

If you need respiratory protection against various gases and vapors, use filters for gases and vapors 3MTm series 6000. Each filter has a color-coded band according to the EN14387 classification system to show the type of protection they offer; just choose the appropriate filter type according to your needs or the requirements of the company's policies. These light filters combine protection with comfort and are compatible with our range of reusable full masks and masks, to work safely in dangerous environments. They offer low breathing resistance and a good balance when attaching them to the mask, and have been designed to optimize the field of vision.

It shrinks quickly and easily, and can be used in any reusable mask 3MTm connection with bayonet type. They can also be used in combination with particle filters 3MTm series 5000 and filter connector 3MTm 501 to create a system that combines protection of gases, vapors and particles.

DURABILDIAD OF FILTERS

Filters used in industrial environments useful life depends on factors such as humidity, concentration of contaminant in the environment, temperature, time of use... and should be replaced when breathing resistance is felt or the smell or taste of the contaminant is perceived to be exposed to. As there are so many working environments, each with its own characteristics, we cannot accurately indicate the durability of the filters.

In general, the useful life of the filters is 5 years since manufacture, but it is recommended not to use them beyond 6 months from their first use if one of the reasons for their replacement mentioned in the previous paragraph has not been met before. (The life of a chemical filter without depreciating is normally indicated in its label. Once the filter is depreciated, even without using it has a maximum duration of 6 months, regardless of the expiry date it has indicated).
