--------------------------------------------

There are a large number of work environments and sectors in which workers are exposed to risks which go beyond those directly related to their work activity Personal protective equipment in order to ensure that the safety of workers is not compromised by the risks they would have to deal with, they must use other devices because of other hazards related to the circumstances in which the work is carried out, such as work at height, meaning both those that develop at a height of more than two metres and those that take place underground (excavations, wells, ditches...) or in confined spaces, where there is a risk that a fall at a different level may occur. For these cases devices should be used prevention of falls which are made up of different components, such as the Double elastic belt energy absorber for scaffolding.

The Double elastic belt energy absorber for scaffolding is a device incorporating a Y-shaped double elastic safety-belt absorber prepared for operation on ABM SCF scaffolding and eyelets at its ends, and is approved for use in areas at risk of explosion. The safety rubber band is made of polyester while the energy absorber is made of polyamide. The maximum elongation of the energy absorber is 0.7 m and the two muskets are made of galvanized steel and their aperture is 18 mm.

The mooring elements are an important component for the safety of workers performing work at height, as they allow them to have greater protection against falling, although it should be borne in mind that a mooring element alone is not prepared to stop a fall, so it must be combined with an energy absorber prepared to perform this task. With the Double elastic belt energy absorber for scaffolding you already have the package you need to protect your workers.

As with any device for the safety and protection of workers, such devices should be inspected regularly to ensure that they are functioning properly and checked by the workers themselves before each use, taking the necessary measures if any deficiencies are detected. Components with any kind of damage or deterioration should not be used, as this would increase the risk of an accident occurring while performing their respective work activities.

Remember that in Sekureco you can find all the uniforms, equipment and components you may need for your work environment and your workers, regardless of the sector, at the highest quality and the best prices you can find on the market.
