CHARACTERISTIC

• PEP of category III
• Connecting sling valid for use as mooring or anchoring device and certified for use in mountaineering
• Available in 0,8 m (Ref. 80178)
• Available in 1,5 m (Ref. 80179)
• Manufacture from materials of any heading
• For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions shall apply:
• Valid as a safety harness (EN 354), mobile anchorage device (EN 795B) and for mountaineering (EN 566)

APPLICATIONS

Valid for use as:

* Anchoring device: for fixing attachment subsystems to a structural mooring point

* Safety cord: component of the equipment together with the absorber (EN355) connected to the connecting tape (sling) and connected to the structural anchorage point (EN795).

* Mountaineering equipment (EN566)

LIFETIME

Reviews: The equipment must be reviewed every 12 months by an authorised person or by the manufacturer. Inspections shall be recorded on the review sheet attached to the PPE together with the instruction manual.

The maximum lifetime is 5 years from the date of first use, unless the equipment is defective or has already been used to stop a fall, in which case it must be discarded immediately.

Cleaning: clean with soap and water not above 30oC. Don't dry in the heat.
