Description

The Scotch-Brite Roloc Clean and Strip disc uses a long-term abrasive that combines silicon carbide minerals with non-woven nylon fibers using a resin that dissolves and decomposes over time. Our discs are designed to aggressively clean without altering the base material.

The Clean & Strip Scotch-Brite ™ Roloc ™ album is used to strongly eliminate joint paint and oxide, door frames, drip moldings, frames and other narrow areas. Our discs have the Roloc hitch system, which facilitates and speeds up disk changes, so they are ideal for finishing processes in several steps. The album is quickly mounted on the hitch and support* that, later, can be mounted on machines such as grinders and straight angle sanders. The discs have silicon carbide minerals and nylon fibers in non -woven material with a resin that dissolves and detaches over time, so the abrasive remains active and resists heat. Silicon carbide is a very sharp synthetic mineral that is usually used in low pressure applications such as paint preparation. It breaks faster than aluminum oxide to achieve an excellent finish. Extragular mineral (XCS) allows corrosion and unwanted spots of various substrates. Deletely eliminates paint and joint oxide, door frames, drip molds, frames and other difficult access areas. Non-woven technology makes industrial abrasives Scotch-Brite. We combine strands, resin and abrasive minerals to form an open and thick mesh. The fiber dock type nature responds to the contours and allows effectively to eliminate the resids, spots and pollutants while maintaining the geometry of the workpiece, so the need to repeat jobs and Productivity is increased. The mesh holes allow the chips to escape so that the waste does not stake the mineral. The mesh fibers are continuously broken with the use to show new mineral and offer exceptional uniformity, superior cutting yield and an extremely long shelf life. From aesthetic finishes to welding roughs, disrupting, etc., Scotch-Brite abrasives work quickly and offer uniform results, piece after piece. * Sold separately

The Clean & Strip Scotch-Brite ™ Roloc ™ album has a durable abrasive that combines silicon carbide with non-woven nylon fibers through a resin that dissolves and detaches over time. Our discs are designed to clearly clean without damaging the base material.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Roloc accessory for quick disc changes
The Scotch-Brite Roloc Clean and Strip album joins the silicon carbide ore and nylon fibers not woven with resin. The resin dissolves and decomposes over time, helping the abrasive to stay strong and resist heat. With the convenience of the Roloc fixing system, the change of disc for multiple steps finish processes is fast and easy. The album is rapidly mounted on a support pad (sold separately) that, subsequently, adheres to abrasive tools such as grinding and album sanders at right angles.
  • Silicon carbide mineral
The Scotch-Brite Roloc Clean and Strip Disc uses silicon carbide, because it is a very sharp synthetic mineral that is commonly used for low-pressure applications, such as paint preparation. While it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a superior finish. Extra Coarse Mineral (XCS) works hard to remove unwanted corrosion and imperfections from a variety of substrates. Aggressively removes paint and rust from seams, door jambs, drip moldings, pinchwelds and other hard-to-reach areas.
  • The Many Benefits of Open Web Abrasives
Nonwoven technology makes our Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives unique. A combination of fiber yarns, resin and abrasive minerals forms a thick, open belt. The elastic nature of the fibers responds to contours and effectively removes unwanted burrs, soils and contaminants while maintaining workpiece geometry, which in turn reduces rework and increases productivity. Gaps in the web allow chips to escape, so debris does not clog the ore.
  • The fibers in the net continually break down with use to reveal fresh minerals for exceptional consistency, superior cutting performance and extremely long life. From cosmetic finishing to weld blending, deburring and more, Scotch-Brite abrasives work fast and deliver consistent results, part after part.
