Description

Discs Surface Conditioning GB-DH fiber HD Basso 115 mm x 22 mm, HD A CRS (50 st) 3M. What. The Surface Conditioning Scotch-Brite disc is a non-woven and durable disc for use as the first step in cleaning, homogenising, shaving and finishing. Our discs perform well on contoured or uneven surfaces without reducing or damaging the base material.

The Light Grinding & Blending Scotch-BriteTM disc uses a combined ceramic grain, which offers a high cutting rate for optimal grinding and weld homogenization in tempered steel applications. Our discs effectively screen for grain scratches of 36 or more.

For a higher cutting rate and greater durability compared to aluminum oxide abrasives, use the Light Grinding & Blending Scotch-BriteTM disc. Our discs use a ceramic grain for moderate material removal, finishing and roughening or homogenization of optimal welds, effectively purifying grain scratches 36 or finer. They can also be used to prepare surfaces for painting by avoiding adding a final dual-action sanding step, before applying a paint with a minimum thickness of 3 mil. Ceramic aluminium oxide abrasive 3M it's designed using one of our own processes. The mineral is frequently fractured to reveal fresh spots that are consistently sharp. Ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive is superior to aluminum oxide abrasives in both cutting rate and durability, and effectively handles intense heat and stress applications.

Scotch-Brite abrasives are single-surface conditioning products combined with nonwoven fiber, creating an abrasive system that delivers consistent results throughout the product's life. The open mesh material works without heating and is anti-slip, which limits fiber jams to maintain the high cutting performance of abrasive minerals. We offer a full range of records 3M with HookitTM-type support for work spaces where discs with adhesive support may be contaminated with dust, dirt or debris in the air.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Uniformly distributed aluminium oxide abrasives offer a high cutting rate and a consistent finish.
  • Our surface conditioning discs use aluminum oxide abrasive, the preferred choice among industry professionals for its quick cutting and long service life.
  • The abrasive is resistant and durable, and fractures itself during use to expose fresh cutting edges continuously to make cutting more effective: this differentiates it from traditional abrasives such as garnet, which wear quickly with use.
  • Aluminum oxide ore is strong and durable, and has a high cutting rate and low heat retention.
  • Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are single-surface conditioning products that mix abrasives with non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres to create an abrasive system that delivers consistent results over the life of the product.
  • The open mesh material works without heating and is anti-slip, which limits fiber jams to maintain the high cutting performance of abrasive minerals.

BENEFITS

  • The variety of grains and sizes of abrasives provide an ideal starting point for cleaning, finishing, homogenization and fine shaving.
  • The open mesh material operates without heating and resists molding, so it offers a long operating time.
  • The adaptive disc conditions surfaces without scratching, marking or damaging the base material.
  • Hookit placement system to change the disc quickly and easily in multi-step finishing processes
  • Grinding and homogenization in one step
  • Ceramic aluminium oxide abrasives 3M they offer a fast and consistent cut throughout the life of the disc
  • Durable to withstand edge wear. Can be folded, stacked or rolled for efficient cleaning and conditioning on flat, irregular or contoured surfaces
  • Immediate homogenisation: the Scotch-BriteTM material will not melt in hot welds
  • Placement and removal system with Hookit to change the disc quickly and easily, facilitating multi-step finishing processes
