The tape is suitable for 600 V applications and withstands a temperature range of 0 to 130 °C (32 to 266 °F). Electrical tape of composite film 44 3Mtm features a combination of mesh and polyester film coated with a pressure sensitive thermosetting rubber adhesive.

This tape is very resistant to heat, oxidation, solvents and oils. This tape with high dielectric strength is robust, resistant to drilling and offers excellent electrical properties. It is ideal for rod-rolled coils/transformers, as well as for protecting starting wires, conductors, terminal rods, insulating paper and end turns.
