APPLICATIONS

The HAULER BINER can be used in several ways:

• As part of an assisted system
• Anchored in a fixed structure obtaining a mechanical advantage MA 6: 1 (theoretical)
• Anchored in harness (moving element) obtaining a mechanical advantage MA 7: 1 (theoretical)
• With a Descender D4/D2 as part of a load transfer system
• As a tensile element in progression and/or safety systems
• As a stretcher handling device, using two or more HaulerBiners to easily change or adjust the stretcher position (STEF).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Care and maintenance: To clean the Haulerbiner, use a damp cloth or warm water. Let it dry naturally. Lubricate the trigger mechanism; apply lubricant to the torque spring and pusher as shown in Figure A. Lubricate the lever by moving it so that the ball bearing sinks. Apply a small amount of lubricant and let it penetrate. Remove the excess. Make sure the oil does not come into contact with the line.

The Haulerbiner kit must not be disassembled. What. To clean it, remove the mesh tube tape and rinse separately. Pull the line to contract the assembly to its minimum size and wash the end of the line in warm water; refer to the rope manufacturer's instructions for further information. Let it dry naturally. Once dry, reposition the mesh tube tape, ensuring that the mechanical advantage label of the cuff is at the end of the Haulerbiner carrying the lever. Figure E shows the correct configuration of the kit.

INSPECTION OF KIT

Take the crane to the wheeled position. Pull out both connectors and check that the lever stops the line moving. The lever shall remain in gear until it is manually unlocked. Ensure that each of the 13 cones is present on the surface of the lever and not worn. If the first row cones are more than 50% worn, the device shall be discontinued. The line shall be thoroughly inspected by removing the mesh tube tape and looking for cuts, frostbite, abrasion or contamination. Two top knots shall also be present at the end of the line, approximately 80 mm apart. Reinsert the duct tape after inspection.
