CHARACTERISTICS

• For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions shall apply: 3M DBI SALA Ultra-Lok RSQ are rugged devices of advanced design that can be counted on for user safety, efficiency and reliability.
• The retractable anti-lock system (RAS) shall extend as the user moves away and retract automatically so that the user can move within a recommended working area at normal speeds.
• If a fall occurs, a speed-sensitive braking system shall activate the fall arrest and reduce the forces on the user to safe levels.
• The innovative Ultra-Lok RSQ model includes dual modes; standard fall arrest mode and 2 descent modes; automatic descent for self rescue and rescue with remote/assisted descent by perch or manually.
• This dual-mode model lowers the operating cost by reducing the need to have another rescue team and ensuring that you always have a rescue plan.
• The SRL extends and retracts automatically, allowing the user to move efficiently and comfortably at normal speeds around the recommended work area.
• The Ultra-Lok RSQ is lightweight thanks to its polyurethane case filled with fiberglass.
• For operational longevity, all models use corrosion resistant stainless steel work components.
• 15 m long and available with galvanized or stainless steel cable.
• At the end of the cable is a double-action musket to attach it to an anchor point of the anti-lock harness.
• This double-action rotary musket has a built-in drop stop indicator.
• The back-up anti-roll system integrated into this retractable anti-roll system (SRL) allows the energy absorption and braking system to function properly, even if a fall occurs when the cable is fully extended.
