Our tapes can be used for insulation in low and high voltage applications and in joints up to 69 kV. Use Scotch® 23 self-soldering tape for low or high voltage applications and splices up to 69 kV. This thick, highly adaptable, vulcanized EPR-based tape can be stretched up to 100% to achieve vacuum-free and moisture-resistant insulation. It is non-vulcanizable, stable in storage and offers excellent electrical properties. This tape has a special polyester liner that does not stick when unrolled and is ideal for sealing electrical connections against moisture.
