Pressure diffusion technology in the 3MTM

It is based on years of anthropometric scientific research by 3M to determine differences in face shape and size, by creating digital models of about 600 different touch points on the human face. The technology works by diffusing the pressure to improve the comfort of the gown without compromising the fit safety in the different facial profiles.

Use

These products are designed to protect against high-speed, low-energy particle impacts (F) at extreme temperatures, -5°C and +55°C, (T) according to European Standard EN166:2001. In addition, they offer protection against UV radiation according to EN170:2002, and sunlight according to EN172:1994 (eye gray only).

Different lens colors are available for a wide variety of applications

• Colourless – Good colour recognition and excellent UV protection.
• Grey – Protection from sunlight.
• Yellow Increases contrast in low light conditions.

These safety glasses comply with the essential safety requirements of Article 10 of European Directive 89/686/EEC, R.D. 1407/1992) and are therefore CE marked.

These products have been examined at design stage by ECS GmbH - European Certification Service, Huettfeldstrasse 50, 73430 Aalen, Germany (Notified Body No 1883).

These products have been tested and EC approved according to European standard EN166:2001.
