REGULATION AND CERTIFICATION

Approved by EC, EN 166:2001

These series of safety glasses have been shown to meet the essential health and safety requirements set out in Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2016/45 and therefore bear the CE marking. The European certification service ECS GmbH, located at Huettfeldstrasse 50, 73430 Aalen, Germany and with notified body number 1883, has examined these products at the design stage. These products have been tested and CE marked according to EN166:2001.

These products have been demonstrated to comply with the requirements of EN 166:2001 and associated standards and are therefore marked as follows:

UV protection with good colour recognition (2C). This product meets the requirements of this standard and provides protection against the specified UV range (210 nm 365 365 nm)

AREAS OF USE AND APPLICATION

These products are intended to protect against high-speed, low-energy (F) particulate matter under extreme temperature conditions between -5 °C and +55 °C (T), in accordance with EN166:2001. They also protect against UV radiation according to standard EN170:2002 (colorless and amber lenses) and sun glare according to standard EN172:1994 (grey, I/O and blue mirror lenses).
