SPECIFICATIONS

APPLICATIONS AND INTENDED USE

These products are intended for protection against a variety of hazards, including low energy impact (F) when worn as glasses with temples or medium energy impact (B) when worn as a facepiece with a headband and gasket. . These products also provide protection in extreme temperatures between -5°C and 55°C (T) in accordance with EN 166:2001.

When used as goggles with a headband and TPE gasket, these assembly options also provide protection against liquid drops or splashes (3) and large dust particles (4), complying with EN 166:2001.

These products also help protect against UV rays, in accordance with EN 170:2002 (clear and amber lenses), and against glare, in accordance with EN 172:1994 (indoor/outdoor gray lens).

3MTM SolusTM 1000 lenses have been designed to offer a higher level of protection against scratches and fogging thanks to the 3MTM ScotchgardTM coating, which meets the requirements of the "K" marking, relating to anti-scratch protection (AS), and "N", relating to anti-fog treatment (AF), in accordance with standard EN166:2001.
