Our end sealing tape 3MTM 4411N is a pressure sensitive, translucent, highly conformal, single-sided acrylic tape with a high-performance ionomer backing. It's an ideal solution for creating an airtight seal. It fits over fasteners, seams, joints, holes and spaces to ensure a durable seal on a variety of substrates.

The sealing tape 3MTM 4411N is an adhesive tape with a translucent white acrylic face and 1 mm thickness which is highly customizable, supported by a high performance ionometric sheet. Our tape is specifically designed to provide professional sealing on an existing joint, cut or crack exposed to direct sunlight as well as extreme temperatures or humidity conditions. The sealing tape 3MTM 4411N is an ideal solution for sealing roof moldings and sealing around mechanical roof fixtures in commercial vehicles, eliminating the need for large amounts of liquid sealants. Our tape eliminates the need for large amounts of liquid sealants. It is very sticky and can be used in a wide variety of difficult-to-seal applications. As one-sided tape, sealing is usually done by 'over-sealing' an existing joint or crack, as opposed to 'sealing between surfaces' applications which are usually done with a joint, liquid adhesive/sealer or double-sided tape. The acrylic adhesive used in this product is manufactured on the same technological platform as the tapes 3MVHBTM. This duct tape offers exceptional performance.

The support of this tape is an ionometric sheet, very abrasion resistant and flexible. It is adaptable, which creates effective sealing on contours, edges, rivets and screw heads. The thick layer of acrylic adhesive gives it excellent sealing properties and long-term weather resistance. The acrylic adhesive has very good adhesion to the ionometric sheet, so you can glue several layers on top of each other obtaining an optimal seal as well. This tape seals tightly and adheres immediately to numerous substrates without waiting for curing time, without dripping or oozing and without cleaning. It adapts to contours, edges, rivets and screw heads. The sealing tape of 3M can be painted, confused with adjacent surfaces and securely fixed in sun, rain, snow and extreme temperatures. What are ionomers? Ionomers are a type of polymer material consisting of thermoplastic resins stabilized by ionic lattices. Commercial applications of ionomers include golf ball covers, semipermeable membranes, sealing tapes and thermoplastic elastomers.

LIFETIME

Store in original containers between 4 and 38 °C and between 0 and 95% relative humidity. Optimal storage conditions are 22 °C and 50% relative humidity. When stored under appropriate conditions, the product retains its performance and properties for 24 months from the date of manufacture.

The date of manufacture appears as a number beginning with the letter "K" followed by a 5-digit code of the Julian calendar (yyddd). The first two digits refer to the year of manufacture. The last three digits refer to days after 1 January. For example, lot # K10273 would result in a manufacturing date of September 30, 2010.
