CEPRO flame retardant blanket roll for welding 1 to the Apollo.

Apollo is a glass filament fabric with flame retardant gray PU coating on one side with aluminum pigments to increase anti-slip properties and frost resistance.

Apollo is recommended for vertical use as a welding and grinding curtain. It's free of asbestos.

It can also be used horizontally.

CHARACTERISTICS

• The maximum application temperature is 550 °C, quickly rising to 600 °C.
• Woven fabrics of cotton, containing predominantly, but < 85% cotton by weight, mixed principally or solely with man-made fibres and weighing > 200 g/m2
• Of a thickness not exceeding 6 mm
• Weight of material 460 grams/m2

TECHNICAL DATA

• CEPRO recommends the use of multiple layers for maximum protection.
• Always use welding blankets at an angle of at least 15 degrees.
• The temperatures shown are just an indication.
• The suitability of the selected product must always be tested beforehand.
• Check welding blankets regularly for tears and other damage.
• Replace damaged blankets when necessary.
• Welding blankets can be used for many purposes and therefore no guarantee can be given as to their use.
• The end-user is responsible for determining whether the welding blanket is suitable for use in a specific situation and provides sufficient protection during the work to be performed.
• CEPRO welding blankets are sewn on the edges cut with the highest quality Kevlar thread.

MANUFACTURE FROM MATERIALS OF ANY HEADING, EXCEPT THAT OF THE PRODUCT

The specifications for custom-made welding blankets are:

• Sewn on cut edges
• The minimum size available is 1m2
• The maximum size available is 15m2
• The minimum length per side is 100 cm
• Welding blankets shall be manufactured with a tolerance of 5 cm in the dimensions provided
