This fast-curing epoxy hardens at room temperature to form a rigid bond. Low viscosity which facilitates its dispensing and leveling. Its formulation prevents it from peeling off, which ensures that it stays in place.

Epoxy adhesives, including 5-minute, are part of the so-called 'structural adhesives' family, which includes acrylics, polyurethane and cyanoacrylate. Epoxies are formulated as liquid reactive polymers that undergo a chemical reaction when mixed and then cured to form a solid plastic material. Once the two components are mixed in the specified ratio, the curing process begins and a limited mixing life, during which the adhesive can be applied and the two surfaces placed as needed. This mixing life can range from a few minutes to several hours.
