Description

For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions shall apply: 3M. 3MTM Scotch-WeldTM Acrylic Adhesive DP8410NS offers 3 times the impact resistance of common acrylic adhesives. Efficient on all types of materials, it is intended for the most common applications including a large number of substrates such as metal, most plastics, wood, glass, etc. It enables the manufacture of more resistant products to meet increasingly extreme demands.

Acrylic adhesives are two-component methyl methacrylate (MMA) adhesives that provide excellent bonding strength and long durability. Often called epoxy adhesives or epoxy glues, acrylics belong to a distinct chemical family with their own characteristics. Acrylic adhesives have several features that make them easier to use, including a much faster curing speed, greater tolerance to oily or unprepared bonding surfaces, and the ability to bond a wide variety of materials, including almost all plastics. The most recent formulations of acrylic adhesives are stable at room temperature with a long shelf life.
