ERGOSTOP sliding fall arrest device on Ø14mm twisted rope. It has a simple, threaded opening system, easy to assemble and disassemble the equipment on any section of the rope.
The configuration of the device allows optimal circulation of the fall arrester on the rope and immediate locking in the event of a fall.
The fall arrest system incorporates a double panic safety lock system.
CHARACTERISTICS

LIMITATIONS OF USE
- The team must be individually attributed to one person.- It is recommended that the anchor point where the fall arrest system will be attached is above the user. The anchor point must have a minimum static resistance of 12 kN and must be in accordance with the requirements of EN 795.
- Personal protective equipment should not be used by persons whose health condition may affect the safety of the user under normal conditions of use or in case of emergency.
- Personal protective equipment should only be used by a person trained and competent in its safe use.
LIFE
The estimated service life of the equipment is 11 years from the date of manufacture (1 year of storage and 10 years of use).The following factors can reduce the shelf life of the product: intensive use, contact with chemicals, particularly aggressive environments, exposure to extreme temperatures, exposure to ultraviolet rays, abrasion, cuts, strong impacts, or poor use and maintenance. The mandatory annual inspection will validate the correct operation of the equipment.
It is mandatory for the equipment to be inspected by the manufacturer or by an authorized person at least once a year. In the event that you have stopped a fall, the equipment should be removed from use.
